For Aunt Ken’s birthday we went out for Mexican food. The wait staff sang to Ken; Uncle Steve tried to set his daughters (Claire and Carmen) up with the waiter; and his daughters explained the concept of Emo to him.

Mount Timpanogos is the second highest mountain in Utah’s Wasatch Range (second to Mount Nebo). We frolicked through the snow, had a minor snowball fight, and Justin made a beautiful snow angel.
Justin has family in Orem, Utah (part of Utah Valley), and his very-knowledgeable Uncle Steve gave us a personal guided tour of the city… my favorite part was the camels in a corral!

Justin & I had a relaxing Christmas day lounging around my parents’ house. We had French toast for breakfast then opened presents together. That night, my step-dad Richard made a traditional Christmas dinner in only one hour! Very impressive.
Our friend “The Keit” turned 30 years old this year, and to celebrate, he invited family and friends to the MB2 Raceway in Sylmar, California – a 60,000 square foot indoor race complex with a professionally designed quarter mile road race course.
I can’t believe the year is up! This really has been the trip of a lifetime.
