Our Neighborhood Bakery, Paris

This bakery was about three minutes away from our apartment in Paris, so we would go there several times each week. They had delicious chocolate chip baguettes (Justin’s favorite) and the staff was very nice to us, despite our terrible French. It is similar to the Anaheim park, but cooler: Space Mountain was way better (you go upside down!); “The Haunted Mansion” is “The Phantom Manor”; “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” is “Indiana Jones Et Le Temple Du Péril”; and there was a dragon under Snow White’s castle! Parc Monceau, Paris

The Parc Monceau was very close to our apartment in Paris, and when we weren’t busy eating crepes, we’d jog here. Music: Powder Your Face With Sunshine, by The Three Kaydets, from the I’ll Be Seeing You album

Arc de Triomphe, Paris

The Arc de Triomphe is a monument in Paris that stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle, formerly the Place de l’Étoile, at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. The arch honours those who fought for France, particularly during the Napoleonic Wars, and today also includes the tomb of the unknown soldier. […]
