The city of Salzburg will forever be associated with its most famous son Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and the house on Getreidegasse (number 9) in which Mozart was born on January 27, 1756. This site is by far the city’s biggest crowd-puller, and the mansion now houses the Mozart Museum. Objects on display include Mozart’s violins, harpsichord, piano, as well as numerous other memorabilia.
