Heidelberg is a beautiful place and I suggest going around Christmas time. My wife and I traveled to Germany this past Christmas and one of our stops was Heidelberg. That climb up to the castle is insanely steep I know.

wohooo. hope u both enjoyed my home country. don’t worry about the rain, it rains most of the year, thats germany. ^^
