the bad apartment, paris

Posted on Mon., March 5th, 2007, 11:30 PM

We’ve used the internet to find most of our housing during our travels. This was no exception; however, this was the first place that we agreed to rent without having seen pictures in advance (a mistake that will not be repeated). The owner had warned us that the apartment was “not huge by any means” and that he had to leave in a hurry so he didn’t have much time to clean up. You think? Also, it didn’t help that we arrived at this place at 11:30 PM.

In the twenty minutes we spent here, we: emailed the owner to let him know we would NOT be staying, found another apartment, found a hotel for the night, took pictures and video.

Be sure to check out the accompanying photo gallery.

  3. Man the Ritz Carlton has NOTHING on this place.
It has classic French style, it’s intimate, the facilites are immaculate - it’s simply fabulous!
You and Justin just don’t know class when you see it!

Wow - that was really a gross apartment!

  7. Although if the place were clean (and not next to the trash dumpsters) I can imagine it would be kind of a nice efficient place. The size is sorta cool, and its intimate and comfy.

But its current state makes it unusuable, I see.

  8. haha. the zoom in on the shower grunge was funny. Also, your camerawork is smooth.

That place was out of control.
