Gemma, Justin, & Bijou

About ten minutes into our dinner at Indian Restaurant Gandhi, Gemma started to have an allergic reaction. We alerted the waiter who informed us that there were peanuts in the sauce we were eating. For those that don’t know, Gemma has a potentially fatal allergy to peanuts. We immediately left and took a cab to the hospital, where they hooked Gemma up to all sorts of equipment and gave her some anti-allergy medication. Fortunately, other than having a swollen face for a few days, no real harm was done.

For future reference, it’s probably best to avoid all restaurants that share an entrance with a sauna.
